How are you being this week? I hope all of you are fine :D

The semester is finishing and the post of today is the last one, in this time I going to talk about my experience writing on blogs

At the course of the semester I wrote post about different topics like: food, pets, subject, web sites, etc. For me, talk about these things was very funny because this was my first time writing about my personal experiences or aspect of my private life.

I think that write about different topics or different personal experiences is a very good way to learn new languages. In my case, I think and I feel that I improved my skills to write. Also I learned new words and new concepts.

To be honest, I’m not really sure if I will continues writing post on this blog by now, I haven’t enough time to do this, because the class at the university are very demands of my time even the free times in weekends

If I have to make a recommendation, I think that include a free topic in the futures courses could be a good idea, because all the people are interested on different topics like sports, social networks, hobbies, etc.

Post 9 : Pets

How are you being this week? I hope all of you are fine and happy for the match that Chile won against Argentina…. we are the champion again :D

Today i going to talk about pets, do you have any pets? Maybe you has dogs, cats, fishes, turtles or hamsters?

In my case, all my life I have been accompanied with pets. When I was a child my mother adopted a little cat called Maximiliano Ossa Morrison, the same name of a character of a novel of 1997 called “Tic-Tac”. He was my first pet, I really loved that cat, but one day he decided leave our home because he was falling in love of a female cat that lived in another house.

After Maximiliano, we had a lot of cats. In one time we had over 10 cats on my house, that was very crazy.

When I was 15 years old, I adopted a street female cat, Tamara. She was my favourite one, because she slept with me all days, and when I arrived at home she purr for a long time until I touched her head. When she died I was very sad :C 

Since 2010, we have a dog called Benjie, he is like a baby. He can’t sleep alone, we always have to leave a special space in our beds to him.  I really love Benjie, because he is the happiest dog in the world when someone arrive to home, especially when i arrive.

A subject you've enjoyed studying this semester

Today im going talk about the university, i will choose  my favorite subject of this semester and explain why i like this.

This semester i´m coursing 7 subjects, like Physiology of fruit plants, modulation of water requirements, postharvest of fruit and fruit plants of persistent leaf. All of them are related of my specialization área, the fruticulture.

If i have to choose any of these, i think that fruit plants of persistent leaf is my favorite one. I really love this subject because i learned about the physiology of the plant and the manegement of fruit plants that produce fruit like avocado, orange, lemons, papaya, custard apple or medlar. Also, at the course of the semester we visited different filed that produce this kind of fruit.

One of the things that i want to do after i graduate the university is work in a avocado field, i really love this fruit.  I hate the office work, i can't stay in the same place for a long time, so work in a open place like a field  could be perfect for me :D

      Hi everyone! How have you been?Today blog it is about a web site that is related to my career, Agronomy!Is very hard to me have to choose only a web site related to my career to talk about them, because internet is full of information like journals, papers, videos, handbooks and a lot of things that can be very useful to learn new aspects or science advances  associated with the agronomic field.

One of my favorites webs site is the “Portal fruticola”, the fruticulture is my specialization area, and therefore this web is very useful to me, because I can find a lot of information about new techniques or practices used in the national and international fruit production.

I really like this web because you can find:·  News of the national/international fruit production and commercialization
·  Statistics information about fruit production (that is very useful to make presentations for the university).
·  Economic perspectives related with fruticulture
·  Opinion columns written by expert
·  Technical handbooks
·  Etc.

I like to visit the web site every weeks, because practically all the days a new post is published.

Music

Post 6 Music!

I have to be honest. I really love listening music. I like because the music make me feel so good, a song can express how do you feel or what do you want. I think that if it wasn't for the music, the life would be so bored.

If you ask me “what is your favorite style of music?”  I couldn’t choose any in particular. I like a lot of styles, like rock, reggae, funk, even folklore.  The bands that sing in English and that I always listen are Pink Floyd, Red Hot Chili Peppers, SOJA, Coldplay, Oasis, Travis, Mumford & Sons, Milky Chance and others…

The bands that sing in Spanish and that I always listen are Dread Mar I, Catupecumachu, Soda Stereo, Ataque 77, La Renga, Chancho en Piedra, M.O, and others…

Personally I think that a good band start with a good guitarist. I love play the guitar, so all the time I’m searching for new song to learn and play. A good guitarist can inspire to other people to play guitar or to make his own songs. In my case guitarist like Eric Clapton, John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Pepers) , Luis Alberto Spinetta, Jhon Buckland (Coldplay) and David Gilmour (Pink Floyd) inspire me to play guitar and to make my own songs that i share with my friends.

Your favourite piece of technology

today I’m going to  talk about my favourite piece of technology.

I think that my personal computer is my favourite piece of technology, because you can do a lot of things if you have an internet connection.  For example, you can:

·         Use social networks ( like Facebook, twitter or whatsapp)

·         listen your favourite music

·          Watch videos on YouTube or any web site

·         read newspaper or journals

·         search information to study

·         play videogames online with your friends

·         buy on a web shop

I had my first personal computer when I was 15 years old, I was at school and I used that to study and play videogames with friends.

In my opinion, I think that a computer is the best tool to study or work, because you can do infinity of things.

Why Agronomy ?

Today I am going to talk about my reason to choose agronomy like my professional career.

When i was 15 years old, i was at school and all my classmates was talking about his future, what career they wanted to study when they finished the school or the things that they wanted to do when they got a Job.

I was scared because y really didn`t know what i wanted to my future, so i decided to find a career who were related with the environmental, with plants and animals, the things that i really like. So, after an intense search on internet, newspaper and journals, I found agronomy like the career that I wanted to study to be a professional and make my dreams come true.
